In 2006, Charlotte Rimmer set up her own business consultancy after 20 years of managing sales teams and SMEs. Aide de MD offers a combination of coaching and business consulting using broad experience gained through both employment and study.
Prior to launching the business, Charlotte worked with an executive finance and banking firm as their Business Manager for three years. This role incorporated the broad range of HR, recruitment, staff management, coaching and hiring with high staff retention the main focus. She set up internal communication lines including reporting systems and management structure. External liaising with specialists on behalf of the managing director, specifically in the legal, strategic development and coaching areas was a secondary part of her responsibility.
Previously, Charlotte was Operations Manager for a firm based in Sydney working with the London based management team for a three year period. This role involved similar responsibilities with full authority and accountability for day to day business management as well as a strategic role in the senior management team.
Before this Charlotte spent 8 years in London as Head of Sales/Traffic Manager and Sales Co-ordinator with Jazz FM Radio, New Media Sales and Katz Television Sales before returning to recruitment as a Senior International Head-hunter focussing on media owners within London, Italy and Sweden.
Charlotte started her career in recruitment in Sydney where she commenced as a temp recruiter rapidly being promoted over three years to manage 45 staff over 7 offices in NSW, developing her strengths in sales management to mentor and successfully recruit staff.
In 2008 Charlotte completed the Professional Development Certificate in Executive Coaching through the Institute of Coaching & Consulting Psychology.
